MB&F has kicked off its 20th anniversary year with two limited editions of most complex haute horlogerie timepieces.
The first limited-edition timepiece is the LM Perpetual Longhorn, containing MB&F’s GPHG award-winning perpetual calendar, first released in 2015.
This fully integrated perpetual calendar was developed for the brand by Stephen McDonnell, featuring dial-side complication and mechanical processor system architecture with inbuilt safety mechanism.
The case of the watch is made from stainless steel, and it features a bespoke 14mm balance wheel with traditional regulating screws visible on top of the movement, while polished bevels, Geneva waves, handmade engravings and internal bevel angles highlight its impressive handcraft.
The second limited edition is the LM Sequential Flyback Longhorn, which was first released as the LM Sequential EVO and was MB&F’s first-ever chronograph – and 20th caliber.
It also features a case made from stainless steel, and its left chronograph displays seconds at 9 o’clock and minutes at 11 o’clock. It has a start/stop pusher at 10 o’clock and reset/flyback at 8 o’clock.
The right chronograph has seconds displayed at 3 o’clock and minutes at 1 o’clock, a start/stop pusher at 2 o’clock and reset/flyback at 4 o’clock. It also has a twinverter pusher at 9 o’clock – a binary switch that inverts the current start/stop status of both chronographs.
Both watches have a calf leather strap with a stainless steel folding buckle and the sapphire crystals that appears on the top of the face and display back are treated with anti-reflective coating.
The watches are priced at CHF 168,000 + VAT.
