Louis Erard has introduced a stunning new regulator with a black dial and rose-gilt detailing.
The regulator, which has separate hours, minutes and seconds, is inspired by sector dials from the 1930s.
The Régulateur Gravé Noir is part of Louis Erard’s Métiers d’Art line.
Métiers d’Art is in turn part of the brand’s Noirmont collection, named after the municipality that has been Louis Erard’s home since the early 1990s.
The new regulator has a 39mm polished steel case with 5N rose-gold details.
“This watch embodies the perfect expression of what Louis Erard stands for,” said CEO Manuel Emch.
He added: “A complex dial in its simplest form. Stripping down the visual and technical elements to their essence, to the purest aesthetic, while bringing greater depth to the details and adding value to both design and craftsmanship.”
The black dial has a fine-grained finish that contrasts with the hands and indexes.
It is powered by a Sellita SW266-1 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve.
The watch is water resistant to 50 metres and comes on a grained beige leather strap.
