Leica Camera AG expands its watch offering with the launch of the Leica ZM 1 and ZM 2 Urban Green models.
Made in Germany, both timepieces feature a 41mm stainless steel case and a rich green-to-black fumé noir dial crafted from high-strength aluminium with satinage vertical grooves.
Both models are powered by Leica’s in-house manual-winding calibre operating at 28,800 A/h (4 Hz), offering a 60-hour power reserve and 26 jewels.
A standout feature is Leica’s patented push-crown, inspired by the shutter button on Leica cameras. It allows the wearer to stop the movement, reset the seconds, and enter time-setting mode with a single press.
The ZM 1 offers core timekeeping, date, and power reserve indicators with a quick-set date function, while the ZM 2 adds a second time zone (GMT) complication and a day/night indicator, with all adjustments handled via the push-crown or pull-out crown mechanism.
Both watches use domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective, scratch-resistant coatings and are water-resistant to 50m.
The back features flat sapphire crystal and a screw-down case for durability.
These Urban Green editions come with three strap options: calf leather, alligator leather, or a fully brushed Milanese stainless steel bracelet with an integrated deployant clasp and quick-change spring bars.
Prices start at €10,800 for the ZM 1 and €14,600 for the ZM 2, depending on the choice of strap.
