Leica announces exhibition with photographer and watch collector Kristian Haagen

Coinciding with Watches and Wonders in April

Titled “A Moment in Time: Kristian Haagen X Leica Watches”, an exclusive curation of imagery shot by the photographer will be displayed at Leica’s Geneva boutique from 3-30 April, offering visitors a unique perspective on the brand’s timepieces through the art of photography.

Timed to coincide with the Watches and Wonders fair in the city, this exhibition celebrates precision, design, and storytelling. Captured using the Leica SL3 camera, the photographs – many of which were taken at Leica’s Wetzlar headquarters – showcase its watches through a collector’s lens, highlighting technical excellence and minimalist aesthetics.

The exhibition kicks off with an exclusive preview event on 2 April, co-hosted by Kristian Haagen and Dr. Andreas Kaufmann, Chairman of Leica Camera AG.

Attendees will gain insight into Leica’s horological collection and experience the brand’s latest innovations first-hand.

Following the launch, a public photography masterclass will take place on 3 April, allowing enthusiasts to explore the intricacies of watch photography with Haagen’s expert commentary.

“Since launching our first watch collection in 2018, we have continually pushed the boundaries of innovation. Collaborating with Kristian Haagen allows us to highlight the deep connection between Leica’s photography heritage and its watchmaking excellence,” said Dr. Andreas Kaufmann.
