Hamilton makes Khaki Field with Engineered Garments

Watch created in collaboration with the New York design house

Hamilton has made a version of its Khaki Field watch in collaboration with Engineered Garments.

The New York-based design house was founded 25 years ago by Japanese-born Daiki Suzuki.

The design house takes influences from both his native Japan and from classic American styles.

They chose an uncluttered 36mm version of the watch for the collaboration.

“For a classic field watch, this size demands something new yet robust,” said Suzuki. “Hence, I advocate for lightweight and durable titanium. Its slightly darker silver-grey tone, unique to titanium, perfectly complements rugged outdoor styles.”

He added: “The dial design prioritises visibility with a minimalist approach, eliminating any unnecessary elements. “In my view, this configuration epitomises the ideal field watch – both contemporary and timeless, embodying the essence of Hamilton Khaki x Engineered Garments.”

The watch is powered by Hamilton’s H-10 automatic movement with 80-hour power reserve.

“When choosing a partner for a collaboration, brand fit and vision are two of our main criteria,” said Vivian Stauffer, Hamilton CEO. “Hamilton being a watch brand with a rich history and a focus on innovation and Engineered Garments with their attention to detail and hidden qualities, we both share the same approach to creating products that are personal. That’s why we knew from the beginning that the output of this collaboration would have strong connections to the values of each brand.”
