H. Moser & Cie. has revealed a playful new watch, fittingly in time for Easter weekend – the Pioneer Centre Seconds Sunny-Side Up.
A reminder that watchmaking needn’t be taken too seriously, eggs provide aesthetic inspiration for the timepiece – a reference we’ve seen not too long ago courtesy of Studio Underd0g x Wristcheck’s Uneggspected triology in December.
This smile-inducing bold model features with a bright yellow, yolk-like fumé dial that shines with a sunburst finish.
The dial also features high-shine hour markers and leaf-shaped hands filled with Super-LumiNova, making time easy to read in any light conditions.
The 40mm stainless steel case features a domed sapphire crystal, a see-through caseback, and is water-resistant up to 120 meters.
Inside is the reliable HMC 201 automatic movement, which keeps ticking at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a strong three-day power reserve.
This movement includes 27 jewels, a bi-directional winding system, an engraved rotor, and the brand’s own Strauman hairspring, carefully finished with anthracite coating and Moser stripes.
The watch is paired with a fresh white rubber strap that fastens with a steel pin buckle engraved with logo detail, and comes with a guaranteed sunny disposition.
