Eberhard & Co. has brought out a watch in collaboration with the Italian performance car company Dallara.
Dallara Automobili da Competizione has been involved with motorsport at all levels for more than 50 years.
It has made chassis for race-winning cars that have competed in everything from F1 to Le Mans.
Five years ago the Italian firm brought out a car bearing its own name, the carbon-fiber bodied Dallara Stradale.
The Eberhard Contograf Dallara has chronograph counter’s in Dallara’s signature racing yellow.
The Contograf range is a modern take on the OG chronograph from the 1960s.
Eberhard has an involvement with motorsport going back to the early 20th century and has collaborated with Dallara on various events before.
The brand described the decision to make a watch with Dallara as a “natural step”.
The Contograf Dallara shows the bond between the two companies and
“embodies their shared mission of defying time”, it said.
“This is the mission”, the brand says “that ultimately drives Eberhard to make watches and Dallara to design faster, safer vehicles.”
The Contograf Dallara has a 42mm stainless-steel case and an automatic chronograph movement with a 30-minute timer at 3 o’clock and continuous small seconds at 9 o’clock.
The watch is limited to 50 pieces and is exclusively available to owners of the Dallara Stradale, or anyone working for Dallara.
