WatchPro is pleased to announce that eBay is returning as sponsor of our annual Awards taking place 10th September in New York.
The luxury pre-owned marketplace’s continued association with the Awards is a indication of how seriously the company takes the watch category, and demonstrates how important secondary market players are to the entire watch business ecosystem.
Reflecting on the partnership again in 2025, Garry Thaniel, Senior Director, US Fashion at eBay, said: “eBay has connected millions of impassioned shoppers through a shared interest in pre-loved luxury goods that embody craftsmanship, heritage, and collectability.
“The WatchPro Awards celebrate the enthusiasm and innovation at the heart of the watch industry, and eBay’s continued involvement allows us to celebrate the effort and commitment of the people who keep this community thriving. “
This night of celebration comes on the back of another intense year of work from eBay’s US team to elevate and improve the company’s offering for both buyers and sellers of luxury watches – notably Authenticity Guarantee initiative, a post-sale authentication programme that guarantees authenticity on watches bought for over $1,500.
The biggest night in the American watch industry’s calendar will take place on 30th September at the stunning Art Deco Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.
The event is a unique opportunity to celebrate the achievements of both retailers and brands over the past 12 months.
This year, there are 27 prestigious accolades up for grabs, including titles such as Independent Watch Retailer of the Year, Luxury Watch Brand of the Year, Best New Store of the Year, and Micro Brand Watch of the Year.
Nominations are now closed, and voting for the all-new Consumer category will open very soon – stay tuned!
