Duckworth Prestex have released a remodel of the Original Prestex, inspired by its first timepiece – a pocket watch made nearly 100 years ago.
The Prestex Original is the first watch ever to be made by the present-day company that is branded only ‘Prestex’.
The stainless steel 39mm cushion case houses an ultra-reliable Japanese Miyota automatic movement, and this exclusive watch comes on a handmade Italian leather dark blue strap.
Staying true to the white gloss dial and oversized ‘onion’ crown that was a hallmark of the pocket watches of the day, it also features Roman numerals, with a small seconds dial now at four o’clock.
The ‘leaf’ hands in heated blue steel are an exact copy of the original Prestex pocket watch.
Only 50 individually numbered pieces will be made, priced from around $950 and available worldwide.
