This limited-edition masterpiece – restricted to just 10 pieces – continues the brand’s legacy of horological innovation and creative collaboration, spotlighting a dual-faced design and cutting-edge mechanics.
A tale of two halves in more than one way, the DB Kind of Two GMT Season 3 is a fully reversible watch that offers two distinct dials, seamlessly switched with a single, ultra-precise flipping mechanism.
Inspired by Swizz Beatz fusion of musical inspirations, this ingenious design allows the wearer to alternate between a contemporary display and a classic GMT face.
The contemporary side showcases a streamlined design that highlights the balance wheel at 6 o’clock, accentuated by polished titanium surfaces and microlight finishes. A jumping seconds complication and De Bethune’s signature 36,000 vph movement add to its technical prowess.
On the flip side, the classic face pays homage to De Bethune’s heritage with a hand-guilloché dial, blued titanium hands, and an elegant jumping seconds mechanism.
Encased in a 43mm matt black zirconium case with Grade 5 titanium floating lugs, the watch is both ultra-light and robust.
It features a self-regulating twin-barrel movement which provides a four-day power reserve, and is water resistant up to 30 meters.
Priced at $235,000 USD / 210,000 CHF, the DB Kind of Two GMT Season 3 debuts alongside the grand opening of the De Bethune Lounge at The 1916 Company New York, marking a milestone for the independent watchmaker in the US market.
Joining its established locations in Hong Kong and Geneva, the space will host a rotating curation of De Bethune timepieces, including its Heritage Collection, highlights from the current lines, and its latest novelties.
The De Bethune Lounge will welcome clients and collectors by private appointment on Mondays through Saturdays from 10am to 6pm.
