Chronoswiss gives Delphis the ice blue treatment

New blue take on the Delphis highlights the “interplay between ice and sky”, Chronoswiss says.

Chronoswiss has unveiled a new all-blue version of its Delphis watch.

The Delphis has a distinctive design, with an oversized onion crown, retrograde minutes and a jumping hour.

It is a characteristically design-forward approach from a brand that was set up in the quartz crisis years as a celebration of mechanical watches.

The Delphis Sub Zero has taken the stainless-steel case and given it a blue CVD coating, matched to a blue rubber strap.

This icy look, the brand says, is “testament to the eternal beauty of ice and glaciers, merging innovative design with meticulous craftsmanship”.

The watch is powered by in-house C.6004 automatic movement – developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret and introduced in 2023 – with a Nivarox balance spring and Côtes de Genève finishing.

The movement has a 55 hour power reserve and the 42mm case is water-resistant to 100m.

The dial was hand-guillochéd in the Atelier Lucerne.

This new blue take on the Delphis highlights the “interplay between ice and sky”, Chronoswiss says, creating a timepiece that is “as wild as the glaciers themselves”.

The Chronoswiss Delphis Sub Zero is a limited edition of 50 pieces priced at CHF 16,800/$18,400.
