The love bug: Blancpain reveals Ladybird Valentine watch

Bejewelled moonphase watch continues a long-running tradition ahead of Valentine’s Day

This may be the time that most people are thinking about Christmas, but Blancpain is already looking ahead to Valentine’s Day.

In a tradition that has gone on for quarter of a century, the brand has unveiled its latest Valentine’s watch.

The Ladybird Colours Saint-Valentin 2025 has a 34.9mm 18k white-gold case and a mother-of-pearl dial with bold red accents.

The case, lugs, crown and buckle are all set with brilliant-cut diamonds.

The moonphase is also encircled with diamonds, which taper down in size towards the 6 o’clock position.

The diamonds in total add up to more than two carats.

Nice little details include a seconds hand that acts as an arrow, piercing Cupid’s heart.

The moonphase has a “moon face” with long eyelashes, full lips and a beauty spot in the corner of the mouth.

The watch is powered by Blancpain’s Calibre 1153L 3Hz automatic movement with an impressive 100 hour reserve.

The decorated, anti-magnetic movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.

Blancpain, with a long history of feminine watches, has been releasing Valentine’s Day watches for the last 25 years.
