In celebration of the 250th birthday of the U.S. Marines, BALL Watch Company presents the Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST Protector.
From its titanium monobloc case and patented helium release valve crown to 1,000 meters of water resistance, it was born for adventure in the sea, land and sky. The DeepQUEST Protector delivers performance and leaves the frills behind, in order to move ahead with freedom.
Limited to 250 pieces, the Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST Protector is available to pre-order on the BALL e-boutique for delivery from October 2025.
BALL’s tritium ‘micro gas tubes’ are famously good for 25 years. Fully integrated below the dial for a smooth look, the tubes are revealed through triangular, circular and rectangular die cuts at each hour marker. The legendary tubes pop with a mighty glow that conquers darkness of all shapes and sizes – in perfect harmony with the uni-directional rotating bezel’s Super-LumiNOVA coating for tracking up to 60 minutes.
The 42mm monobloc case is carved from solid titanium, while an automatic helium release valve is built directly into the crown to allow helium, hydrogen and other gases to safely escape during ascension to the surface. The smart innovation prevents damage to the sapphire crystal, seals and gaskets, and COSC certified caliber.
And because the valve is integrated into the crown, the monobloc case stands as an uncompromising fortress providing extreme water resistance to 1,000 metres (or 3,300 feet).
Crafted from ceramic, the uni-directional rotating bezel precisely measures elapsed time up to 60 minutes – whether diving excursions, training sessions or critical meetings. Ceramic’s high levels of scratch resistance, corrosion resistance and fade resistance make it the ideal material for the sweet embrace of adversity. Available in black and green and limited to 250 pieces each, its color and functionality will endure for as long as exploration lasts.
