Longines has unveiled a limited edition of the Conquest Chrono aimed squarely at skiers.
The launch is the latest foray into alpine sports for Longines, which has timed skiing events since as far back as the 1920s.
The limited edition Conquest Chronograph is made for the 2025 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, but more likely to be seen on the wrists of spectators supping a Glühwein in one of the Alpine bars.
The 48th edition of the championship takes place in Saalbach, Austria, in February.
The Conquest Chrono Ski Edition has a 42mm stainless steel case that is water resistant to 100 metres.
The automatic movement has a listed power reserve of a very specific 59 hours.
The sapphire crystal has a multi-layer anti-reflective treatment on both sides.
The 12-hour and 30-minute counters are tinted the same red as the tachymeter scale on the ceramic bezel.
The applied hour-markers, along with the polished, rhodium-plated hour and minute hands are all coated with Superluminova for maximum visibility.
A skier in full flight, the emblem of the FIS World Championships 2025, is engraved on the watch’s screw-down case back along with the inscriptions: “SAALBACH 2025-FIS ALPINE WORLD SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS” and “LIMITED EDITION – ONE OF 2025”.
The Longines Conquest Chrono Ski Edition is a limited edition of 2025 pieces priced at $4,300.
