The latest addition to Alexander Shorokhoff’s striking Happy Second line is characterized by a decidedly 70s, namesake orange dial that deepens into a rich brown at the edges, complemented by a multicolored central chronograph seconds hand for a dynamic, playful aesthetic.
The watch’s 42mm stainless steel case is a new development for the brand. Its 12.40mm slim profile makes it remarkably thin for a chronograph, while a cylindrical sapphire crystal adds a unique contrast against the flat case.
The sapphire case back provides a glimpse into the meticulously finished movement and signature engraved hand-rotor- the TA 2894 automatic chronograph, which powers a central chronograph seconds hand, a 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock, and an hour counter at 6 o’clock, all while offering a 44-hour power reserve.
Once the start/stop pusher at 2 o’clock is pressed, the vibrant seconds hand springs to life, showcasing the watch’s kinetic personality.
Paired with a soft calfskin strap featuring light contrast stitching and an engraved stainless steel buckle, the Alexander Shorokhoff Happy Second Orange is limited to just 50 pieces and priced at €3,299.
