Romain Gauthier has made two striking new two-tone additions to its sports watch line.
The C by Romain Gauthier line was launched in 2021.
That was around 15 years into the life of a brand that was known for complicated pieces like the Logical One that showed off the watchmaking artistry of Monsieur Gauthier and his team.
C stands for Continuum, and introducing a sports watch gave the brand a much broader appeal.
Watchmaking is still central however, and the new additions – like other watches in the C range – have sapphire casebacks that offer a great view of the hand-wound movement.
Finishing is meticulous, and the in-house calibre offers hacking seconds via a snail-cam mechanism, a Romain Gauthier speciality.
One watch has a full dial in black titanium with a grooved and grained texture.
The other has a partially open-worked dial with blue accents.
Both have the small seconds dial at 7 o’clock with the signature overshooting lines.
The integrated titanium bracelet is made entirely of grade 5 titanium, with an integrated titanium folding clasp.
The C by Romain Gauthier Titanium Edition Bracelet costs CHF 42,000 with a full titanium dial, or CHF 52,000 with the open-worked dial.
