Marloe Watch Company has updated its Morar diving watch.
The new Morar 310 is so-named for its 310-meter depth rating.
This is impressive, particularly in a watch that has an automatic movement and costs £599.
Marloe watches are British designed and Japanese made, and the new watch is powered by a Miyota 9039 movement with over 40 hours of power reserve.
The watch comes in four different designs:
The Morar 310 Air: Gold King is “golden yellow” and represents the Royal Air Force’s Sea King helicopter.
Morar 310 Air: Steel is also an aircraft-inspired design, taking the ‘Post Office red’ accents from the Royal Navy Westland Wessex helicopter in blue-gray.
Morar 310 Land: Onyx is monochrome with ‘International Orange’ branding.
Morar 310 Sea: Sanna has emerald green accents in a nod to Scotland’s Sanna Bay.
Each watch in the Morar 310 collection has a single plane sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
The case is 42mm diameter marine grade stainless steel with a unidirectional rotating bezel with a ceramic insert.
For added magnetic resistance, the movement is surrounded by an iron cage.
There is a helium release valve between the lugs at 12 o’clock to allow saturation diving.
There are luminous hands and hour markers for maximum visibility under water or in low light.
