Hottest micros and indie brands create unique watches for TimeForArt charity auction

Swiss Institute charity auction in New York is raising money to support contemporary artists.

New York non-profit the Swiss Institute is to hold its second TimeForArt charity auction.

Styling itself as the only watch auction to support contemporary art, the first edition took place in 2022.

The inaugural TimeForArt auction put 17 watches under the hammer and raised $1.2 million to support artists.

All of the proceeds, including the buyer’s premium, go to help artists through the Swiss Institute’s exhibitions and workshops.

This year, TimeForArt brings together 26 watch brands, from Armin Strom to Zenith, ranging from independent and microbrand watchmakers to acclaimed brands.

The sale will be part of the Phillips New York Watch Auction: XI taking place at 432 Park Avenue on December 7th.
