Seiko has released four new watches in the Astron collection.
The new pieces feature Caliber 3X62, the new GPS solar movement with precision of +/- one second every 100,000 years.
The Seiko Astron GPS Solar watch connects to the GPS network up to twice a day to ensure the high level of accuracy.
The watch has a scratch-resistant 41mm titanium case and integrated titanium bracelet.
The new watch is available with a dial of either grey, blue or black.
The fourth watch has a rose-gold colored titanium bezel.
The Astron GPS Solar was first introduced in 2012.
When the dial detects sunlight, the watch connects to the GPS satellite network and adjusts automatically to the correct time.
If the watch is hidden from light, it recalls the time of its last manual connection and attempts to receive the GPS signal again at that same time.
The watch is anti-magnetic and water-resistant to 100m.
Prices for the new Seiko Astron GPS Solar start at $2400
