Bvlgari Tubogas embraces longtime yellow-gold look

New watch and jewellery collection unveiled by the Roman house

Bvlgari has unveiled a new Tubogas watch and jewelry collection that celebrates the brand’s longtime use of yellow gold.

The Tubogas – named after a pressurised gas pipeline – is Bvlgari’s signature wraparound bracelet.

The bracelet first appeared on the brand’s famous Serpenti watch at the end of the 1940s.

The bracelet has been used in countless iterations, with and without watches, and with all manner of different precious stone settings.

The new collection boasts several new pure jewelry Tubogas pieces, which can be wrapped around the wrist or the neck, as personal style dictates.

The new references sport a number of different combinations of colored gemstones.

There is also a new Bvlgari Bvlgari Tubogas watch.

The watch has a black lacquered dial with diamond indexes and a wraparound bracelet made of yellow, white and rose gold.

Bvlgari watches are made in Switzerland, but the company headquarters are still in Rome, the city where it was founded 140 years ago.

Rome also remains the spiritual home for the brand.

The case of the new watch is yellow gold and has the double Bvlgari-Bvlgari logo engraved around the bezel.

That style was inspired by the inscriptions on ancient Roman coins and has become a signature for the brand, along with the wraparound bracelet.
