The Japanese brand Orient has introduced four new models to the dressy Classic Collection.
The Orient Bambino 38 has been given a small seconds dial, along with new dial colours.
The Bambino is a bestseller for Orient, with its classical dial and in-house automatic movement.
The slender 38.4mm case, introduced in 2022, is an in-between size that will suit just about all adult wrists.
The Calibre F6222 in-house movement gives accuracy of +25/– 15 seconds per day and a 40-hour power reserve.
It is available with a dial in either black, ivory and silver – the silver dial comes on either a steel case or a gold-plated steel case.
It comes on either a black or brown calf leather strap and is water-resistant to 30m.
The Orient Bambino 38 is part of Orient’s Classic Collection, well-made mechanical watches with prices starting under £300.
Orient’s ability to sell watches with in-house movements at such competitive prices is in part due to the parent company.
Orient was founded in Japan in 1950 and it now forms part of the large Seiko Epson watch and electronics group, giving it access to its own cutting-edge technology.
