Davosa Swiss unleashes its ‘best ever’ diving watch

New branding among highlights of new 300m diving watch

Davosa Swiss has unveiled a new diving watch with a ceramic bezel insert in three different colors.

The Ternos Professional 68h Automatic is a diving watch with 300m water-resistance.

Corinna Bohle, Davosa Managing Director – who has been with the company since 2000 – calls the watch the “best Ternos Professional ever made”.

The new watch gives extra space to the Davosa logo, a stylised wind rose, a historic maritime symbol made up of two kits that promised safe passage home to sailors.

That kite shape also gives a base for the hands, which echo the shape and are Superluminova filled for legibility in low light.

The Joux-Perret based automatic movement provides 68 hours of power reserve.

The 42mm stainless-steel case is attached to a redesigned three-link bracelet.

There is a fine adjustment system for fitting it over a wetsuit, and the strap is quickly interchangeable for a rubber strap, which can be bought as an option.

The high-tech ceramic bezel is available in either green, blue or black.

The unidirectional bezel has a 60-minute scale for timing dives, or other less daring adventures.

The screw-down crown helps contribute to the hefty 300m water-resistance.

Davosa was founded in the Swiss Jura in 1881, but since 2020 has been headquartered in North Rhine-Westphalia, in northern Germany.
