Hoffman, the young automobile-obsessed American brand, has launched a new watch set in collaboration with Perpétuel Gallery, the Dubai watch-collecting destination.
Hoffman Watches was launched in 2016 with an ambition to reimagine the well-loved concept of the racing chronograph.
It produces a range of well-designed bi-compax chronographs with a range of mechanical and Seiko mecaquartz movements.
The new version of the Hoffman Racing 40 model has been created in yellow, orange, blue or pink. Each watch is in a kit with a hand-made leather lanyard and card-holder created by Canadian watch accessory firm Charles Simon and a pair of Akila sunglasses.
The matching sets are limited to 25 pieces per colour.
“The collection has been created in collaboration with Perpétuel to evoke memories of a warm summer day, Hoffman said in statement. “We are introducing completely new and potentially unexpected colorways inspired by the hues prevalent during a visit to Southern Europe in the summer.”
He added: “Additionally, we are introducing our new sapphire bezel and sunburst dial, with each watch fitted with a matching canvas strap to further enhance the light, warm, and airy feeling of summer”.
Charles Simon said: “This project allowed us to develop an object that is perfect for everyday use while still delivering the impeccable level of quality we stand for. The lanyard’s intricate details, including a brass plaque wrapped in premium leather and adorned with our logo, exhibit our dedication to contemporary craftsmanship. Every step was done in Canada entirely in-house. Our signature sleek design is paired with vibrant colorways to create a boldly minimalist accessory that is a must have for the summer and many seasons to come.”
The Hoffman Racing 40 has a 40mm steel case and a VK64 Seiko mechanical-quartz. Water-resistant to 50m. Price 4,000 AED (c. £850 +VAT).
