Corum joins the sandcastles and sommeliers at the third annual Seaglass Rosé Festival

Corum turns up the pink sunshine for AutoNation’s DRV PNK initiative

Supported by Corum and with the tagline ‘Sandcastles & Sommeliers’, the third annual Seaglass Festival took place in Fort Lauderdale last weekend.

An immersive experience that celebrates everything rosé-related, a percentage of each ticket sale is donated to AutoNation’s DRV PNK ongoing initiative to “drive out cancer” through research and awareness.

The three-day event focuses on the world’s best rosé wine, champagne, spirits and craft beers and, in keeping with the theme, guests were encouraged to wear pink and white throughout the weekend.

Corum has been a sponsor of this unique event since 2020 and last year donated a 38mm Admiral watch with baby-pink dial and metal bracelet to the Seaglass gala auction dinner which raised money for AutoNation’s DRV PNK initiative. The charity is based in South Florida, which is also home to Corum’s USA’s office.

According to Corum: “We feel very strongly about supporting our Seaglass partners to raise money to put an end to this disease. Corporate and social responsibilities are extremely important to any company, especially when there are so many challenges around the world today. With both Corum and automotive retailer AutoNation based in the Fort Lauderdale area, the synergy of the partnership is a natural fit.

“Everyone has been touched by cancer in one way or another, the AutoNation DRV PNK initiative is just one way for Corum to give back and help drive out cancer.”

Each year Corum aims to produce a watch with a pink strap or dial to symbolize the DRV PNK initiative in order to raise money. Over the course of this coming year Corum will support four or five Seaglass Experience events to raise funds for AutoNation’s DRV PNK campaign and will donate a watch to the auctions at each of these events.

Speaking of the Festival, Stacy Ritter, president and CEO of Visit Lauderdale said: “Seaglass captures the essence of Greater Fort Lauderdale with its irresistible feet-in-the-sand, rose-in-hand vibe. It provides a wonderful opportunity for visitors to meet and mingle with members of our very diverse and eclectic local community.”

In addition to the event being for charity, organisers are also keen for it to be ecological, with all products used being sustainable to minimise the impact on the beach and sealife.
