Glashütte Original’s latest limited-edition Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date models bring a striking fusion of retro design and futuristic color.
Limited to just 100 pieces each, the new Plasma and Fusion editions revive the iconic 1970s square case with rounded corners, now paired with daring purple and lime-green dials inspired by visions of virtual worlds.
Crafted in Glashütte Original’s own dial manufactory, the matte lacquered dials feature a velvety texture, galvanic black totalisers with a vinyl finish, and the signature Panorama Date at 6 o’clock.
Stainless steel cases measuring 40 x 40 mm combine polished and satin-brushed surfaces, available with a matte black rubber strap or finely adjustable metal bracelet.
Inside, the in-house Caliber 37-02 delivers 70 hours of power reserve, automatic winding, and a flyback chronograph function for instant resets. Water-resistant to 100 meters, the movement showcases refined German watchmaking through sapphire crystal case backs, with decorative stripe finishing, a skeletonized rotor bearing the Double-G logo, and blued screws.
Both Plasma and Fusion models are available worldwide at all Glashütte Original Boutiques and selected retailers, with both priced at EUR 17,000 on the bracelet and EUR 15,800 on the rubber strap.
