At the heart of the design is a miniature, hand-painted dial that pays tribute to Botticelli’s Renaissance icon, capturing Venus in her classical pose beside a Hora, set against a sunburst blue backdrop and gentle ocean waves. Each brushstroke preserves the elegance of the original while adapting it to a circular dial, transforming fine art into wearable horology.
The canvas for this artwork is Venezianico’s slim Arsenale watch. Measuring just 9.95mm thick and powered by a Miyota 9039 automatic movement, the 40mm stainless steel model features a refined Canova Concept bracelet, polished-satin case finishing and anti-reflective sapphire crystal, ensuring the truly impressive work of art is visible in any light.
The specially created sunburst blue dial, developed exclusively for this collaboration, provides depth and brilliance that also serves to enhances the painted artwork.
