AVI-8 scrambles squadron of Snoopy Flying Aces

AVI-8 scrambles squadron of five limited-edition Peanuts 75th anniversary Snoopy and Woodstock aviation watches

AVI-8 proudly launches its first official collaboration with PEANUTS, honouring Snoopy’s storied persona as the ‘Flying Ace

This capsule collection flies in formation with Orient and Bamford London’s own 75th anniversary tributes to Charles M. Schulz’s beloved beagle.

Launching on July 25th – and likely to fly off the shelves, so to speak – it features five unique timepieces, each limited to 250 pieces worldwide, marrying the Hong Kong-based watchmaker’s aviation-grade craftsmanship with the timeless charm of the American cartoon icon.

The collection is adapting five former tributes to five different vintage airplanes, including Britain’s WWII Spitfire (above, in ‘Beagle Blue’ guise, £330 / $330) and Hurricane, as well as the USAF’s P-51 Mustang.

Unlike all of the above’s Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, the fleet of five come kitted out with a variety of Japanese quartz, auto’ and meca-quartz hybrid movements, as well as a joyous dose of tongue-in-cheek fun.

Each of the five watches is finished with its own uniquely designed caseback – from Flying Ace-printed glass casebacks and exhibition casebacks that reveal these inner workings, to intricately engraved comic panel designs that bring Peanuts nostalgia to life.

This capsule collection also features Snoopy charm-infused leather straps, sub-dials and hands with playful detailing, and turning bezels adorned with a soaring Woodstock (Snoopy’s trusty avian companion) adding an extra touch of whimsical
aviation spirit to these collector-baiting tributes.

Each watch includes a UV flashlight and comes with an irresistible display piece in itself: a bespoke Snoopy’s Doghouse–shaped box, each timepiece resting on custom
Launching 25 July 2025, exclusively at avi-8.com and select global retailers.
