DOXA is marking what would have been Clive Cussler’s 94th birthday with the launch of the new SUB 750T Clive Cussler – a 94-piece limited edition dive watch celebrating the legendary novelist, explorer, and long-time ambassador of the brand.
This latest release marks the third chapter in DOXA’s tribute series and commemorates 20 years since ‘Sahara’, the film based on Cussler’s novel, brought the brand’s signature orange dial to the big screen.
The new model features a redesigned 45mm stainless steel case, now slimmer at just 11.95mm thick – nearly 2mm thinner than the original. It retains the classic orange dial, a hallmark of DOXA since the 1960s, and adds subtle Cussler-inspired details, including the NUMA logo at 7:30 and compass rose engraving on the caseback.
Dive-ready features include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, Super-LumiNova® for optimal underwater visibility and 750m water resistance. Powering the watch is a Swiss-made automatic movement with a 56-hour power reserve and date display at 3 o’clock.
Each of the 94 individually numbered timepieces will be available exclusively through DOXA’s official website, where a portion of proceeds will support NUMA, the National Underwater and Marine Agency founded by Cussler to explore and protect maritime heritage.
