Bvlgari launches new high-jewelry watches in Polychroma collection

Enlivened with an array of rare gemstones, the brand spotlights over 600 jewellery masterpieces, including 5 new timepieces

Bvlgari has launched Polychroma, a new line that blends exceptional jewelry design, rare gemstones, and Swiss watchmaking expertise.

Showcasing over 600 masterpieces, 250 of which are new creations, Polychroma features 60 ‘millionaire’ pieces – the most ever revealed by the Roman Maison.

At the heart of the collection are five timepieces that embody Bvlgari’s design DNA and technical prowess.

The Nuvole Preziose pendant watch features a 6.88-carat yellow sapphire and required 1,560 hours to craft, while Notte Stellata dazzles with moving fireflies set on tremblers and a dial shaped like a Roman night sky.

The Serpenti Aeterna, a modern take on Bvlgari’s iconic snake motif, is offered in diamond-and-sapphire or diamond-and-emerald versions with bold bangle bracelets.

Meanwhile, Gioco di Forme e Colori is a kinetic masterpiece featuring a 12.34-carat tanzanite and a cascade of multicolored gems.

Lastly, Tubogas e Colori reinvents the iconic Tubogas bracelet in rose gold, adorned with vibrant hardstones and a 6.65-carat amethyst dial cover.

Four of the five watches house the Piccolissimo movement, the world’s smallest mechanical caliber at just 1.3 grams and 12mm in diameter – a testament to Bvlgari’s innovation in miniaturized horology.

The brand presented the dazzling collection at a dramatic launch in Taormina’s ancient Greek theatre overlooking the Sicilian coast, where celebrities including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Lisa Manobal and Viola Davis were treated to immersive performances and private viewings of the Polychroma showroom in the San Domenico Palace.
