DEEP DIVE: Curating Couture 2025

Couture 2025 is set to be a curation of the world’s most exceptional design, creativity and innovation

Featuring approximately 300 brands, the event is a global representation of best-in-class designer luxury timepieces and fine jewellery.

With designers and brands hailing from around the world, Couture highlights a broad range of aesthetics. From everyday staples to classic and collectible to avant-garde and edgy, the trade show displays and showcases the unique and singular points-of-view of idea originators.

Exhibiting watch brands include the likes of Frederique Constant, Bell & Ross, Citizen, Bulova, G-Shock, Norqain, S.T Dupont and more.

The show layout has been designed with discovery and relationship-building in mind.

The majority of Couture’s brands are strategically placed in salons within the primary ballroom, Cristal, emerging, design atelier brands debut their work in the adjacent, sunlit hallway and several heritage brands display their pieces in bespoke ballrooms.

Villas overlooking the golf course play host to a handful of designers and brands who entertain and onboard in an intimate and private setting.

The amenities and events built into Couture provide opportunities for establishing and nurturing relationships.

From hosted breakfasts and lunches offered to designers, press and retailers, to all-day coffee and tea service to afternoon treats, to well-appointed lounge spaces, the show is a bustling hub of conversations, friendships and a shared love and enthusiasm for exceptional design.

Additionally, evening events, which include the Opening Night Event on Wednesday and the Couture Design Awards event on Saturday, provide countless opportunities for celebrating design and forging lasting memories.

This year, Couture is set to offer a large variety of CoutureTalks: a line-up of thought leadership sessions. Relevant and substantive topics including sourcing, traceability and IP strategies will be juxtaposed with more light-hearted and engaging sessions such as trend forecasting, origins of design and retail therapy.

Taking place in the Convention Center Lounge, CoutureTalks will both entertain and provide actionable guidance to attendees.

The Couture Design Award event held on Saturday evening in Encore Theater is a reliable highlight of the event each year.

The design competition is open to all Couture exhibitors, and the finalists and winners in each category are established by a panel of judges that includes two retailers, two members of the press and one designer, and announced on stage at the event.

Attending retailers vote on the People’s Choice Award, narrowing the category down to three contenders, with the winner decided by a live text-to-vote.

The evening will also include the announcement of this year’s Cindy Edelstein Award recipient, which is presented to a demonstrated leader in the Couture community who is dedicated to the success of brands and an inspiration to others through an enthusiastic attitude and unabated vitality.
