Pushing boundaries of material engineering and horology throughout its 25-year history, Formex introduces a milestone release – the world’s first micro-adjustable ceramic bracelet, paired with a full-ceramic case and a COSC-certified skeletonized movement.
The Essence Ceramica Skeleton COSC is a masterclass in ceramic – a material seven times harder than steel yet 30% lighter. The 41mm case and matching solid-link ceramic bracelet provide exceptional scratch resistance, durability, and fade resistance.
The case features a blend of vertically brushed and diamond-polished surfaces, showcasing an extraordinary level of finishing rarely seen at this price point.
Available in four limited-edition variations – GT, Stradale, Stradale Viola, and Stradale Blue – the Essence Ceramica Skeleton COSC is priced at CHF 3,970 for the Stradale and CHF 4,150 for the GT edition.
Beneath the sapphire crystal, the openworked dial reveals a skeletonized automatic movement that’s COSC-certified.
Manufactured in-house by Cadranor, the dial combines brushed and polished elements across multiple tiers, creating a striking sense of depth and precision. Applied Super-LumiNova accents ensure exceptional legibility.
Where traditional ceramic watches rely on metal clasps, Formex has innovated with a patented micro-adjustable ceramic clasp. This world-first mechanism allows on-the-fly adjustments in 1.5mm increments over a 5mm range, ensuring optimal fit without the need for tools as well as a stunning cohesive aesthetic.
Further enhancing wearability, the patented Case Suspension System adapts to wrist movements, absorbing shocks and maintaining ergonomic fit.
The watch is also water-resistant to 100m, features a screw-down crown, and offers exceptional magnetic resistance.
Orders open on March 21, 2025, with deliveries starting in July 2025.
