Alexander Shorokhoff watches open window into the ocean world

€2,700 limited editions use four different layers of mother of pearl to bring marine scenes to life.

Alexander Shorokhoff is taking pre-orders for its new Flensi collection of watches, which double as fish tanks for the wrist.

A ship’s porthole provides the inspiration for a range of colourful timekeepers that feature a 3D depiction of multicolored fish and other undersea elements including four shades of mother-of-pearl, that make up the different depths of each dial.

Each piece comes in a 45mm steel case with a fixed titanium external bezel and an internal rotating bezel that can be used as a countdown timer for diving.

There are three colour variations, each limited to 60 units.

They are powered by a Sellita SW200-based automatic movement with a customised rotor and blued screws.

Water resistant to 10 ATM, the watches are priced at €2,700.
