Perrelet Turbine Titanium Pink Flamingo watch

Perrelet thinks pink with new Turbine Pink Flamingo

It seems the bold-hued bird is the source of infinite horological inspiration

Hot on the heels of Tudor’s Black Bay, the flamingo has inspired another bold colorway, this time splashed across the strap of Perrelet’s new Turbine.

A playful addition that expands the Turbine Titanium 41 collection that was first released in 2023, the Swiss watchmaker maintains the signature 41mm black DLC-coated titanium case, adding more high-tech materials and an in-house COSC-certified movement.

Though the strap is a head-turner, its the dial where the watch comes alive. The model features Perrelet’s iconic 12-blade turbine, engineered from black anodized aluminum with five tungsten counterweights to enhance its mesmerizing rotation.

Beneath the turbine lies a vibrant matching pink sub-dial, inspired by the Miami Vice era’s neon-infused aesthetic and the natural pigmentation of flamingo feathers.

This is sharply contrasted to fairly punky effect against the matte black hour track, accented with Super-LumiNova-filled Arabic numerals and indices.

With a thickness of 13.9mm, ergonomic lugs seamlessly integrate with its bright pink rubber strap, while the fluted crown, detailed with the brand’s emblem, enhances usability.

At its core, the Perrelet Turbine Pink Flamingo is powered by the brand’s P-331-MH self-winding movement, manufactured by SOPROD.

This Chronofiable and COSC-certified caliber operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), delivering superior accuracy and a 42-hour power reserve.

The open-worked rhodium-plated rotor, mounted on ball bearings, is visible through the sapphire caseback, showcasing the meticulous Swiss craftsmanship that’s expected from the brand.

The Turbine Pink Flamingo is available now from authorized retailers worldwide and via perrelet.com in select regions, and is priced at €4,980 / CHF 4,980 / $5,250.
