Vacheron Constantin marks its 270th anniversary with the opening of a new immersive global exhibition, The Quest: 270 Years of Seeking Excellence.
Showcasing the maison’s heritage, craftsmanship, and pioneering spirit, the exhibition is kicking off its world tour in Abu Dhabi, where it’s being held at Al Qana from 21 February until 15 April.
Designed to offer a deep dive into the brand’s legacy, The Quest traces Vacheron Constantin’s journey from its founding in 1755 to its status as one of the world’s most prestigious watchmakers.
Visitors will have the rare opportunity to see timepieces from different eras, highlighting the brand’s technical innovations and timeless design philosophy.
The exhibition also incorporates interactive experiences, allowing guests to explore the intricate craftsmanship behind Vacheron Constantin’s most legendary masterpieces.
As a tribute to Abu Dhabi’s rich culture, the brand will present an exclusive, one-of-a-kind timepiece featuring a celestial sky chart of the emirate. This is said to reflect the region’s rich tradition of celestial navigation.
The Celestia Astronomical Grand Complication features 23 complications, including a patented running equation of time and an impressive three-week power reserve. Its large scale astronomy is even more impressive given the infinitely small size of a minuscule watch component.
Additionally, the exhibition will introduce the first-ever Vacheron Constantin Majlis, a dedicated space where guests can participate in panel discussions, workshops, and live demonstrations led by master watchmakers and artisans.
In honor of Ramadan, special programming will blend the artistry of horology with the spirit of the Holy Month, offering a truly immersive cultural experience.
Adding to the excitement, Vacheron Constantin will unveil its latest Watches & Wonders novelties in Abu Dhabi on 1 April, simultaneously with their presentation at the Geneva Fair – a first for the brand and a strategic move in positioning Abu Dhabi as a key global stage for luxury watchmaking.
Christophe Ramel, Managing Director of Vacheron Constantin Middle East, said: “We are honored to bring this milestone exhibition to Abu Dhabi, a city that perfectly embodies heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation.”
