Louis Erard affirms its identity with new permanent model

Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu joins the lauded Noirmont Métiers d’Art collection

Taking an introspective view on its new offerings for 2025, Louis Erard looks to double down on its brand identity by introducing a new permanent model that celebrates its heritage via strong visual codes.

The new Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu is an addition to the Noirmont Métiers d’Art collection, and reimagines the sector dial aesthetic of the 1930s with a vertical display of time indicators – a nod to the signature design of the Régulateur.

This new timepiece revives the art of traditional engraving, showcasing a meticulously detailed blue grained dial enhanced with a galvanic treatment that creates a sense of depth.

The rhodium-plated indexes, numerals, and railway track motif provide a refined contrast, ensuring optimal readability while staying true to Louis Erard’s minimalist ethos: “Less is more, more is less.”

At the heart of this timepiece lies the Sellita SW266-1 automatic regulator movement. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), it offers a 38-hour power reserve, enhanced by a custom open-worked oscillating weight bearing the Louis Erard emblem in black lacquer.

Encased in a 39mm polished stainless steel case, Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu has domed sapphire crystal, treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides, while a transparent case back reveals the movement’s intricate decorations.

Distinctive fir tree hands and crown, inspired by the forests of the Swiss Jura, further root this model in Louis Erard’s design language.

It is worn with a light grey grained calf leather strap with quick-release bars.
