Herbelin goes retro with the Cap Camarat Square Chronograph

Inspired by 1970s models and the cape of Saint-Tropez

Renowned for its rich French watchmaking heritage, Herbelin looks to the eponymous South of France cape to inspire its latest watch, the Cap Camarat Square Chronograph.

Looking to a 1970s model in its archives, the new model is defined by its retro sensibilities, combining a striking square case with contemporary technology at an accessible price point.

A neo-vintage design with bold geometry, the watch is designed, engineered, and assembled in France, and features a 40.50mm stainless steel case with rounded corners, blending brushed and polished finishes.

The bezel, adorned with six decorative screws, enhances the watch’s geometric shape, while the push-pieces, seamlessly integrated into the crown protection, epitomize Herbelin’s refinement and commitment to both form and function.

Its integrated bracelet is another standout feature, designed with four alternating links and a double-folding clasp, ensuring both comfort and durability.

With water resistance up to 100 meters, the Cap Camarat Square Chronograph is built to withstand everyday wear.

Protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, the watch’s blue dial features a horizontal stamped pattern, adding texture and depth.

The chronograph function is clearly displayed with three C-shaped counters: a small seconds at 6 o’clock, a 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock, and a 1/10th second counter at 12 o’clock. The date aperture at 6 o’clock further enhances the dial’s functionality.

Driven by a Swiss-made Ronda quartz movement, the Cap Camarat Square Chronograph offers precise timekeeping with an accuracy of 1/10th of a second. With a remarkable battery life of up to 54 months, this watch ensures long-lasting reliability.
