Zenith used today’s LVMH Watch Week to unveil a second top-of-the-line Rainbow edition of its popular Chronomaster Sport watch, this time in 18ct white gold.
The $112,100 watch has only been available in rose gold set with baguette cut diamonds, spinels and sapphires since 2024.
The 41mm 18ct white gold piece has its 41mm case and hour markers beautified with 50 baguette cut gemstones including 40 sapphires and 10 diamonds.
The black-dialed chronograph runs from the 5Hz El Primero 3600, which has a stop watch that can measure elapsed time to an accuracy of 1/10th of a second.
It will be on sale exclusively at Zenith boutiques and its online store for $112,100.
Zenith’s Chronomaster Sport has often been compared to Rolex’s Cosmograph Daytona (a watch that once used a Zenith movement).
Rainbow versions of the Rolex Daytona can sell for around $600,000 at auction, although there are a range of references, many of which have gem-setting across their lugs, crown guards and even their dials.
Zenith Defy Skyline Chronograph
Zenith’s second launch at LVMH Watch Week is a skeletonized version of its Defy Skyline Chronograph, which fits into the ever-popular market for steel-on-steel luxury sports watches with integrated bracelets.
The $15,500 watch comes in a black or blue colorway and runs from the skeletonized El Primero 3600SK automatic movement, which also measures time to within 1/10th of a second and has 60 hour power reserve.
The 42mm watch has the usual central hours and minutes hands, small seconds at 9 o’clock, 1/10th of a second central chronograph hand and counters at 6 and 3.
“This completes the Defy Skyline Chronograph family,” a spokesperson tells WatchPro.
