Zenith is supporting breast cancer awareness by making a pink version of its Defy 21 ladies’ chronograph.
The watch has been created in association with Pink Ribbon Switzerland and has the world’s first pink movement inside a pink gold case with a bezel adorned with 44 pink sapphire stones and diamond studded lugs.
Its open black and gold skeletonized dial exposes the inner workings of the pink PVD-treated movement with a pink star-shaped oscillating rotor visible through a crystal sapphire case back.
It is worn on a pink leather strap.
“Zenith is proud to announce that it will be joining the global Pink Ribbon awareness movement, where a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the DEFY 21 Pink Edition will be donated to Pink Ribbon Switzerland,” the company says.
Zenith will also take part in September’s Pink Ribbon Switzerland Music Gala in Zurich where one of the pink Defy 21 watches will be auctioned to raise money for cancer research.
The watch goes on general sale in August.
