WOTY 2014: Citizen Promaster Aqualand Depth Meter

0

Highly Commended. Sports Watches of the Year 2014.

This vast 53mm Citizen dive watch bears all the hallmarks of a professional tool and yet has the kind of secondary aesthetic cool that comes from a product that simply refuses to compromise on its intended purpose.

For a wristwatch it’s too big, the hands are too stubby and the dial is awash with various scales but those are the very same attributes that make the Aqualand Depth Meter the handsome brute it is.

The watch is water resistant to 200m and will be able to gauge its own depth up to 70m. The Aqualand Depth Meter will also record maximum depth memory, has a rapid ascent alarm, an auto start dive mode, Eco-Drive solar powered movement, power reserve indicator, a unidirectional bezel, polyurethane strap and thick 6mm crystal.
