Here G-Shock has pulled together three individual technologies to create a combination that’s a real world-first.

Not only does the GPW-1000 GPS use satellite signals to calculate time zone location and accurate time, but it also receives time-calibration radio waves from ground stations in Japan, North America, the UK, Germany and China.

Solar panels on the dial and a high capacity rechargeable battery ensures that this functionality, perfect for the global explorer, can be powered by sunlight alone. The rugged Triple Resist G-Shock also boasts high-visibility LED illumination and an in-flight mode.
