Wempe has added to its Zeitmeister line with the Sport Tides Automatic.
The model has a newly developed and patented rotating bezel with a display that shows when the next high tide and the next low tide will occur.
The bezel has one triangle marked HT (High Tide) and a second triangle located opposite it marked LT (Low Tide) and between the two triangles are hour markers that indicate the time remaining until the next change.
Wempe says the Sport Tides Automatic has been designed as a showpiece for water sports enthusiasts as well as a reliable precision instrument for professionals.
It has a running time of 42 hours and has a optimized calibre to ensure the brand could receive the German chronometer certification.
The 42-millimeter stainless-steel tank is water-resistant to a pressure of 30 bar and is connected with a stainless-steel wristband.
The wristband has a folding clasp with a safety catch and an extension element.
