Watchshop.com named as Google Certified Shop

Watchshop.com has joined the Google Certified Shops programme, an award presented to the highest performing ecommerce websites.

The programme helps online merchants demonstrate a proven track record of offering a positive shopping experience with a badge graphic, taking into account on-time shipping and customer service. The graphic is a clickable link that provides further information on the programme.

Kishore Naib, director of Watchshop.com, said: “We are pleased to have been approved as a Google Certified Shop. It provides additional certification for the great online shopping experience and customer service we offer consumers.”

Shoppers purchasing through a Google Certified Shop have the option of selecting free purchase protection from Google. Then in the unlikely event of an issue with their purchase, they can request Google’s help, and Google will work with WatchShop.com and the customer to address the issue. As part of this, Google offers up to £1,000 lifetime purchase protection for eligible purchases.

Google Certified Shops is free to both for shoppers and online stores. The programme helps online stores like WatchShop.com attract new customers, increase sales and differentiate themselves by showing off their excellent service via the badge on their websites.
