Alexandre Meerson credits his father Emerich for his horological passion because he used to design watches for leading retailers including Tiffany and Bucherer in the 1970s and 80s.

Mr Meerson was often in the store during that residency, meeting directly with clients and guiding them through the process of customizing their own watches, which would then be manufactured in Switzerland.

In today’s WatchPro Original interview, Mr Meerson speaks about his experience in New York, reveals he intends to move almost permanently to the United States to build his business here, and looks forward to a post-Covid-19 world in which he intends to open in partnership in several more US cities.
