WatchPro Innovative Watches of the Year Winner: Garmin MARQ

0

Garmin is not new to the wristwatch market, it has been making timekeepers for athletes and adventurers for years.

But this year it wanted its watches to compete in the mainstream market where a combination of style, technology and build quality would encourage people to consider its MARQ family as an alternative to tool watches from the very biggest Swiss brands.

They look and feel like top end chronographs, particularly this featured Commander model, until you get closer and see that their dials are digital and capable of displaying all the information that an Apple Watch would present.

Mainstream retailers like Beaverbrooks are reporting strong sales, confirming that Garmin has crossed over into the traditional watch market.
