WatchPro at SIHH: H Moser & Cie

Aside from the Apple-baiting antics of Moser’s headline-grabbing Swiss Alp Watch, the brand was busy stripping details from its dials in a drive towards simplicity.

Moser’s incredibly intuitive Perpetual Calendar and an Endeavour Centre Seconds underwent the treatment, which removes everything but the hands from the glorious fumé dial.

Conversely Moser seemed to want to add as much detail as possible to its Perpetual Calendar Heritage special edition, a wristwatch with full-hunter dial and caseback covers like those found on pocket watches.

This unusual, a decidedly high-end, piece uses enamel-cover guilloche work with diamond-setting to create an ornate timepiece that blends contemporary form with traditional decoration.
