Watchfinder has become the first watch retailer to open a concession within Harvey Nichols, the upmarket department store in London’s Knightsbridge.
The specialist retailer of pre-owned luxury watches is located within the men’s accessories department on the ground floor and will offer a curated sample of its 3000 available timepieces.
Shoppers will also be able to browse and order from the full e-commerce catalogue on an integrated plasma display.
Watchfinder began life as a pure e-commerce retailer, but has spent the past few years opening physical stores in luxury locations .
“We were pure play and digital for so long. We are now more focused on completing the circle and filing in the gaps, and the gaps for us were all offline,” said Watchfinder co-founder Lloyd Amsdon.
“The concession with Harvey Nichols is not only a retail opportunity, but perfect editorial positioning for our brand,” he added.
