Dutch watch brand Voelen has launched two new series of watches on Kickstarter, targeting the affordable minimalist market.
In Dutch, the word ‘Voelen’ means to feel, something the watchmaker says it wants to reflect in its work.
The new release features 316L stainless steel and sapphire crystal glass with an anti-reflective coating.
The series are powered by a either a Miyota 2025 quartz or Seiko automatic movement. The Seiko automatic movement makes the watch available with a matching dial and hands.
The Bermuda and Artic series included in the release are water resistant to 50 metres and come with a two-year warranty.
After their launch on Kickstarter on Monday, Voelen is hoping to have the watches shipped out by February.
So far it has raised $1,667 of the $14,905 goal.
