LA-based customization brand laCalifornienne has launched a new collection designed to appeal to consumers looking to make a ‘wrist statement’.
The cult brand, which launched in 2016, is known for repurposing vintage Cartier and Rolex watches with new colorways and straps for ‘fashion-forward caretakers’.
Following the release of the brand’s flagship collection Classique, which reference the famous ‘magic hour’ skies of California, laCalifornienne has gone over to the dark side with new range Nuit.
The new collection draws inspiration from moodier, more mysterious nocturnal skyscapes, with combinations of color blocking aubergine and gold, slate grey with marine blue, sage green and merlot, paired with cases refinished with a matte-satin effect.
Fashioned with custom-made, hand-painted vegetable leather signature laCalifornienne straps, the Nuit collection watches have black-based straps featuring one to four stripes.
Nuit is available to order globally at laCalifornienne.com from May 31 and will be further available at selected retailers including Barneys New York, Browns Fashion, and Maxfield.
