Franck Muller has released its new timepiece, which is the result of a five-year project coming to fruition for the brand.

The Swiss watchmaker has launched Aeternitas Mega 4, dubbed ‘the most complicated wrist watch ever made in the world’, after half a decade of work.

The new timepiece displays 36 complications, 25 of them visible and comprises 1,483 components and a 1,000 year calendar.

Manufactured in house, the design was tailored to emulate the traditions of the old ‘cadraturiers’ of the Vallée de Joux.

The name of the Aeternitas comes from Latin and means eternity.

The new piece is priced at 2.7 million dollars.
