Victorinox goes back to the future with vintage vibe for its sporty Alliance family


Victorinox has given its popular sporty Alliance family a vintage-inspired makeover for 2018

The 44mm watches, which will hit retail in September, are designed as timekeeping instruments for a range of sportspeople.

In simple chronograph mode, its functions are essential for measuring successive events without resetting to zero (add), or for reading intermediate times while continuing your timing (split).

“Alliance Sport measures every moment of your life and follows you on all your adventures,” the watchmaker says.

“At all times, whether you have a need for speed or prefer testing your limits in the great outdoors. In cycling, running, automobile racing or freeride mode, its speedometer lets you to measure your speed in mph,” it adds.

The watch comes in a range of styles including black, gray, blue and white dials – each with three subbdials and a date aperture at 4 o’clock.

The stainless steel or PVD cases have a tachymeter scale on the bezel.

The watch can be worn with a steel bracelet or rubber strap.
